Car Club To host Annual Car Show
The Der Kobblers Car Club will hold its annual car show Monday at Midway State Park. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon. The first 250 cars will get dash plaques. The cost to take part is a $10 donation, with proceeds benefiting diabetes education at UPMC Chautauqua and Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
Valley Historical Society To Gather
SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. The meeting will take place at the society’s museum at Main and Lester streets in Sinclairville. Final plans for this year’s History Fair will be discussed. Anyone interested in local history is invited to attend.

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville History Fair Committee is looking for groups, floats, local officials, cars and motorcycles to participate in the History Fair Parade on Saturday, Sept. 9. The parade line-up begins at 9 a.m. at the Sinclairville Elementary School with step-off at 10 a.m. Groups can register by calling 716-665-1261 or just showing up early enough to get logged on the participant sheet. The parade kicks off day-long events that end at 9 p.m. with fireworks. There will be several free events throughout the day along with musical groups, a cruise-in, craft vendors and a street dance.

Bible study at Kiantone Congregational Church in fellowship hall will resume Mondays from 11 a.m. to noon starting Sept. 11.
Boys And Girls Club To Start New Swim Lesson Session
The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls of Jamestown will be starting a new session of swim lessons for youth. The new session runs Sept. 26 to Nov. 18.
The club uses the Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginner to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child’s efforts and abilities. The classes are for ages 5 and up.
The eight-week swim lesson registration fee is $40.00 per participant. A Boys & Girls Club membership is also required and available for $25 for one full year of membership.
Swim lessons are scheduled one day/week for 45-minutes.

All youth programming at the Boys & Girls Club is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County and the Club is a United Way Community Partner.
