Church To Host Dinner Theater Event

Conservancy To Host Annual Meeting

BEMUS POINT — The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy will hold its 2023 annual meeting on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center in Bemus Point. The meeting will be a potluck picnic style event, with dishes provided by staff and board. A short presentation about the organization’s current and upcoming projects and programs will start around 5 p.m. The gathering is free and open to the public. No RSVPs are required.

County Land Bank Meets

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. will hold its monthly board meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 in the Gerace County Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. The monthly meetings are conducted to discuss business associated with the acquisition and potential sale of property by CCLBC and other official business as required (agendas will be provided at the meetings). LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Memorial Library will host a workshop to create a realistic paper Monarch butterfly with paper artist Wendy Bale on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. No drawing skills are needed.
