Lantern Theater Company
KENNEDY -- The Kennedy Free Library will host the Traveling Lantern Theater Company at 9:30 a.m. Thursday to perform "Rhonda Appleseed and the Tree that Learned How to Speak." This portion of the summer reading program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend.
GOBike Buffalo To Present
Community Workshop
GOBike Buffalo will persent a Complete Streets community workshop from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the James Prendergast Library. Part of the workshop will include a walking tour and recommendations for pedestrian and bicycle safety. There will also be discussion of a grant-funded project for pedestrian infrastructure between the library and Dow Park. Celoron Village Board To Hold Special Meeting On Monday
CELORON -- The Celoron Village Board will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Celoron Community Center, 47 Dunham Ave., Celoron, to discuss and take possible action on contracts for the demolition of the old highway garage; the construction of a new highway garage; and to conduct other essential village business. The public is welcome to attend.
Valley Historical Society Gathers August 1
SINCLAIRVILLE -- The next meeting of the Valley Historical Society will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the Sinclairville ballpark. This will be the annual picnic meeting at 6 p.m. All attendees are asked to bring a dish of food to pass as well as their own table service and beverage. The program will be treasure trove. All members are asked to bring an old item of interest and talk about it to the group. Anyone interested in attending may come.
