Church To Hold Service At The Beach
CASSADAGA -- Park Church of Sinclairville and Cassadaga will hold a joint service for its two campuses at the Cassadaga Beach. The service will take place at 10 a.m. After the service, lunch will be provided.
Motorcycle Run, Benefit Planned
A benefit motorcycle run around the lake will be held Aug. 6 for Tim Newell. All money raised will help the family with medical bills and expenses. Registration is from 8:30-9:30 a.m., with the run taking place from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A benefit will be held from noon-5 p.m. at the Celoron Legion Herman Kent Post 777, 26 Jackson Ave., Jamestown. Church Sets Bible School
Kiantone Congregational Church will host its vacation Bible school on Thursday, Aug. 3, and Friday, Aug. 4, from 6-8:15 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 5, from 2-5 p.m. with a picnic to follow as a dish to pass. USDA Group Meeting In Jamestown
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Local Working Group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. July 26 at the USDA Service Center, 220 Fluvanna Ave., Suite 600, Jamestown.
The group will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues existing in the community and providing information and feedback to NRCS. Participants may be agricultural producers; owners of nonindustrial private forestland; representatives of agricultural and environmental organizations; and representatives of governmental agencies carrying out environmental, agricultural, or natural resource conservation programs and activities.

Those interested in attending the July 26 local meeting are asked to make reservations by July 21.
Grange Plans Fair Display
The July 10 meeting of Ross Grange followed a dish to pass lunch at the Falcon's Nest Banquet Hall.
Minutes of the June meeting were read and approved. Betty Wakefield and Opal Sprague shared activities of the regional 150th birthday party of New York State Grange held at Curries Grange in Wyoming County.
Information was shared regarding savings for Senior Health Care and Insurance. Letters of thanks were received from Falconer, Fluvanna and Kennedy libraries for donations given by Ross Grange.
At the August meeting, Ross will host the County Pomona Grange. Plans were made for lunch. Mary Ann Spanos of the Office of the Aging will be the speaker.
Members worked on assembling the display booth for the Chautauqua County Fair. Included were signs, handouts, tables, easels and floor covering. A schedule was made for those who will check the booth each day.
