Library Offers Summer Reading Programs
FREWSBURG — The Myers Memorial Library is offering several summer reading program events. Today at 5 p.m. there will be a magic workshop at the library for children ages 8 and older. A cooking class will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. by the SnapEd program suitable for children ages 6 and over. The ArtMobile from St. Bonaventure University will be at the library on Friday at 3 p.m. for children ages 6 and over. The Traveling Lantern Theater Company will host a program at the library on Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m. featuring a performance of Rhonda Appleseed And the Tree that Learned How To Speak. Registration is required for all the events except the theater show. All events are free. Call the library at 716-569-5515 to register.

District To Meet
MAYVILLE — The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carlson Center, Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.
County Soil And Water Conservation District To Hold Meeting
The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its monthly board meeting on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Chautauqua County Soil & Water Conservation District office, 220 Fluvanna Ave., Suite 600, Jamestown. For more information, call 716-664-2351, ext. 5.
The Audubon To Visit Hazeltine Library With Animals
BUSTI — The Audubon Community Nature Center will visit the Hazeltine Library in Busti at 11 a.m. Friday and bring local animals with them. The library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti. The program is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested by calling the library at 716-487-1281 or in person at the library.
Annual Golf Tourney Set For August 27
The 19th annual Jamestown Bowling Company golf tournament benefitting the Chautauqua County Humane Society and in memory of Alex J. Foti will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, at Blueberry Hill Golf Club.
Registration is at 8 a.m. and the tournament starts with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament costs $80 per person or $59 for members. Four-person teams can include any combination of men or women, with the field split into three flights, with cash prizes paid to the first and second place teams in each flight. Registration is limited to the first 36 teams to register and pay.
Golfers will receive a complementary t-shirt.
Coffee, juice and donuts will be provided. There will also be hot dogs, chips and drinks provided after nine holes. Bloody Maryás Jello shots will also be available.
After the tournament, golfers can attend a cook-your-own-steak dinner at Jamestown Bowling Company/Gametime.
No PGA cardholders are eliglble to play.
