Work To close Ellery-Centralia Road

Construction crews will be replacing a drainage pipe on Ellery-Centralia Road. The project will begin today, and the road will be closed until further notice. A detour will be posted. Motorists are asked to plan on taking an alternate route during the work.

Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Program

FALCONER — Falconer Public Library will be celebrating the start of its summer reading program with a kick-off celebration today between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The theme is “All Together Now” and registration is open to readers of all ages. Throughout the summer, the library will be offering fun activities, programs, special guests, stories, crafts, games and prizes and more. The library is located at 101 W. Main St., Falconer.

SWCS Class Of 1961 To Hold Reunion

The Southwestern Central School Class of 1961 will hold its 62nd class reunion on July 15. The event will be held at Olive Garden in Lakewood. A gathering will start at 2 p.m. with dinner to follow. Reservations should be made by July 6 by calling Judy Lee Rhodes at 716-488-0561.
