Gerry Seniors To Meet On Friday

GERRY — The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet Friday for a luncheon and program at Gerry United Methodist Church. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to share with others and their own table service. The program will follow. New members are welcome.

Sons Of The American Revolution To Meet

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet at the Stockton Hotel on Saturday, May 13, at 12:30 p.m. Members will be ordering lunch from the menu. Anyone interested in the War for Independence or interested in becoming a member of the group is welcome to attend. Spouses are also welcome. Church To Hold Free Mother’s Day Meal

Cemetery Association Gathers May 15

KIANTONE — The Kiantone Maple Grove Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 15, at the Kiantone Congregational Church hall, 646 Kiantone Road. All lot owners and families are invited to attend.

Soil And Water District To Meet

The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its monthly board meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the district office, 220 Fluvanna Ave., suite 600, Jamestown. The board will vote to approve the district’s spending, projects and to ensure the production of soil and water is on track. Sewer Meeting Set For May 18

Association To Hold Annual Plow Day

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will hold its annual plow day Saturday, May 20, beginning about 9 a.m. on Mill Street in Stockton. Antique tractors and plows will be demonstrating plowing in the surrounding fields. The event will continue throughout the morning and afternoon, until the field is plowed. At last year’s event, seven antique tractors utilized plows with two to five blades. Members of the CCAEA are invited to participate in plowing and members of the community are welcome to view this event.
