Fenton Canteen To Be Held

The Fenton Canteen will be held Saturday at the Fenton Mansion, 67 Washington St., Jamestown. Canteen is held on the second Saturday morning of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. New veterans are always welcome to attend.

CVCS Board To Hold Budget Workshop

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will hold a budget workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the middle-high school multi-purpose room.

Beekeepers Association To Hold Monthly

Meeting On Thursday April 13

The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown. As the period between the April showers and the May flowers is a very busy time for beekeepers, discussions will focus on seasonal management chores such as assessing hive strength, spring feeding and installation of package bees. Plans for preparing the new apiary site and relocating the club hives will also be discussed. The meeting is open to the public free of charge. Beginners are always welcome. Blood Drive To Be Held At Chaut. Mall On April 13

LAKEWOOD — An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 13 and April 15 at the Chautauqua Mall, 318 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. United Senior Council Meets April 13

The United Senior Council of Chautauqua County will meet on Thursday, April 13, at 10 a.m. at the Panama United Methodist Church. The committee will be working on the questions for the trivia contest that will be held during the group’s meeting on May 11 at the North Harmony Senior Center.
