Celebration To Be Held 5-9 p.m.

CELORON — The annual Fire & Ice Celebration hosted by Chautauqua Harbor Hotel to raise awareness for and to benefit The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The event includes more than 20,000 pounds of ice carved into sculptures, ice bars and martini luges, an adult playgrounds punctuated by roaring fire pits, a cash bar, light hors d’oeuvres, chili and chowder and a fireworks display to end the evening. Tickets are $30 a person and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No one under 21 years of age will be admitted. The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County is a safe, child-friendly center that supports a multi-disciplinary investigative approach to child physical and sexual abuse allegations. Its mission is to create a safe and engaged community to bring healing, hope, and justice to the children and families.

MAYVILLE — Members of the Chautauqua Lake Central School Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the secondary school library at Chautauqua Lake Central School. The public is welcome to attend.

DUNKIRK — The Chautauqua County Food Policy Council will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Park United Methodist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The meeting is open to the public. Registration Is This Month

Registration for the Jamestown Babe Ruth Baseball League, ages 5 to 15, will be held in-person Saturday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jamestown Jock Shop, 10 Harrison St. Registration also can be done online at jamestownbaberuth.com. The fee is $55 for ages 5 to 7 and $80 for ages 8 to 15. To be eligible, players can reside or attend schools in Chautauqua County, Warren school districts or Cattaraugus County west of Route 219. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Set

The Warrin’ Wrecking Dolls will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser Sunday at the American Legion, 412 Pennsylvania Ave. W., in Warren, Pa. There also will be a basket raffle and a 50/50 drawing.
