Harmony Senior Citizens To Meet Thursday

PANAMA — Harmony Senior Citizens will meet Thursday, Feb. 2, at noon at the Panama United Methodist Church for a tureen dinner. Members are to bring a dish to pass and their own table service. As Valentine’s Day will be celebrated, members are asked to bring their wedding album and/or share their engagement stories or interesting events during their wedding or honeymoon. All area seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Chautauqua County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board will meet at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13 in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Jamestown Panning Commission To Meet Feb.28

Benefit Breakfasts Planned In Westfield

WESTFIELD — Pancake breakfasts to benefit local organizations have been planned for the coming months. The menu includes pancakes with sausage and sausage gravy over biscuits with coffee tea or juice. A cash donation will be accepted from 8 to 10 a.m. Benefits are: Saturday for the food pantry to purchase feminine products diapers and formula; March 4 for the Apple Seed Nursery school; April 1 for the United Methodist Church. The event will take place at the United Methodist Church.

Nominations Sought For ’23 Distinguished Alumnus

Nominations are sought by March 1 for the 2023 Distinguished Alumnus Award, given by the Jamestown Community College alumni associations at the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses. Since 1980, the alumni associations have presented accomplished graduates with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, the association’s highest honor. The award is given to those who typify JCC’s tradition of excellence and bring credit to the college through personal accomplishment, professional achievement, or humanitarian service. Nominees must be graduates of JCC.
