Gather Today

BUSTI — The Independent Railroaders will hold their monthly meeting today at the Busti Fire Hall at 866 Mill Road in Busti. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m. This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Bill Loizeaux on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. Attendees are encouraged to bring any pieces of B&O memorabilia to compliment the presentation. There will also be a workbench session for members to display their model railroading projects.

Outdoor Club To Hike On Sunday

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the Tidioute Riverside Rec Trek Trail on Sunday. The hike will be about 4 miles. The group will meet at Musante Street at 1:30 p.m. or at the sewage treatment plant in Tidioute, Pa., at 2 p.m.

Panama School Board Meets Monday

PANAMA — The Panama Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the board room. The meeting is open to the public.

Sons Of Legion Meets Tuesday

FREDONIA — The Sons of American Legion Squad 59 will be holding its monthly meeting for January on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia. Raffle dates are March 25 for the ham, sausage raffle and June 17 for the meat raffle. All Squadron 59 members are encouraged to attend the meetings, which are on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Mobile Pantry Truck To Be At Ashville Church

ASHVILLE — The Feed More of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Falconer will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Open hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, only proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Senior Class To Host Spaghetti Dinner

FALCONER — The Senior Class at Falconer Central School will be hosting a spaghetti dinner today from 4-7 in the high school cafeteria. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children. Walk-ins are welcome. 

Dunkirk Library Hosts Session For Banner

Program

DUNKIRK — The Dunkirk Public Library will be holding training sessions to assist individuals who want to participate and contribute to the Hero Banner Program. Staff will be available to assist participants in completing the application with the picture and submitting it digitally to the program. Interested individuals can come to the library at 536 Central Ave. on Monday, Jan. 30, between 10:30 a.m. to noon or Tuesday, Jan. 31, between 1 to 3 p.m. Contact the library at 716-366-2511 for more information.
