Missing Teen Reported Safe

A 16-year-old female was reported to be safe after the Jamestown Police Department late Wednesday noted that she had been missing. The department described the teen as a “missing endangered person.” The girl was later located, JPD said Thursday.

Church To Host Annual MLK

Program

Emmanuel Baptist Church, 53 W. 23rd St., Jamestown, will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. program at 4 p.m. Sunday. The theme will be “Fulfilling the Dream.” The public is welcome to attend.

Library To Host Annual, Regular Meetings

FREWSBURG — Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg will hold its annual association meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17. A regular board meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public.

Frewsburg Library To Host ‘Healthy You’ Classes

FREWSBURG — Snap-Ed will be holding three “Healthy You” classes at Myers Memorial Library, 6 Falconer St., Frewsburg. The first class will be on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 10:30 a.m. The topic is “My Plate: Eat a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables.” Mary Ryder from Snap-Ed will be teaching the classes. The second two classes will take place on Feb. 15 and March 15 at the same time.
