Corp. Meeting Scheduled For Jan. 11

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation board meeting scheduled for Jan. 11 has been cancelled due to a lack of items to be acted upon. The board is expected to meet Feb. 8 in Mayville.

Frewsburg School Board Meets Thursday

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the MS/HS Multi Purpose Room. Fenton Canteen Planned For

Jan. 14

Fenton Canteen will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Fenton Mansion. Although the Fenton Mansion and Hall House Research Center will be closed from Jan. 7 through Jan. 31 for annual cleaning and maintenance, Canteen Veterans are welcome on the 14th. Canteen is held on the second Saturday morning of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. New veterans are always welcome.

In-Club Sit-Down Spaghetti Dinner Saturday

The Marco Polo Club will be holding an in-club, sit-down spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Dinners are $12 for adults and $7 for children. Salad inclusion based on availability. Take-out dinners will be available. Drive-through orders will not be available.

Presentations At Monthly Meeting On Saturday

The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will conduct three concurrent half-hour presentations in round-robin fashion at its monthly meeting on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Ave., Fluvanna. The  presentations are geared for the novice and open to the public free of charge. At this event, club members will conduct on-going presentations on how to get started with beekeeping; getting started with mason bees; and making food wraps, balms and salves with wax and honey. The general meeting of the Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club of America scheduled for January 18 at the War Vets Recreation Club is cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. The group will meet again on February 15.
