Blood Drive To Be Held At UPMC Chaut.

The Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at UPMC Chautauqua, 207 Foote Ave., Jamestown. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait time, but not required, by calling 814-456-4206. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows. The Community Blood Bank partners with hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York to provide blood for patients in need. Women’s Club To Host

Luncheon

The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Friday, Dec. 9, at noon at the Moon Brook Country Club. The program is the Jamestown High School Madrigal Singers. Fire Dept. To Hold Town Hall Meeting

Leon Fire Company No. 1 will hold a town hall community meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Leon Fire Hall to discuss the Leon ambulance transfer to Randolph Regional EMS. All Leon fire district residents are encouraged to attend. There will be no interruption of emergency medical care. The transition will be smooth and there will be no change to Leon Fire Services. Leon EMTs will also belong to the Randolph EMS team.

Panama School Building

Evacuated

PANAMA — The Panama Central School building was evacuated Monday afternoon due to a gas leak. The evacuation was on the recommendation of National Fuel, the district said in a message. Student drivers were sent home early while buses picked up students at the United Methodist Church.

The November meeting of the Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association has been canceled. Meetings will resume in March.
