Bemus Point Library Board To Meet

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Library board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today in the library. The public is welcome to attend.

Open House Set For Today

The Northwest Arena will host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. today to show recently completed additions and updates to the public. Board members will act as tour guides through the arena, updated venue spaces and TheZone! There will also be a cake cutting, snacks and beverages.

Health Board To Meet In Gerace Building

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Board of Health’s Nov. 17 6 p.m. meeting location has changed to the Gerace Office Building, Room 331, Third Floor, 3 N. Erie St. in Mayville. Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications, and not read during privilege of the floor. Public comments at the meetings during the privilege of the floor must be made in person. Library To Host Musical Club Session On Thursday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites the public to participate in a musical club session on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. Those attending should bring their own instruments, with an electric piano and acoustic guitar available for use as well as microphone and amplification equipment. Audience members are also welcome. This program is free and open to all ages. The library is located at 15 Main Street in Sinclairville. The library will be closed November 24-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Railroaders To Hold Monthly Meeting Friday

The Independent Railroaders will hold their monthly meeting at the Busti Fire Hall at 866 Mill Road in Busti. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7 p.m. Friday. This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Dave Cole on the former Erie Railroad’s Bradford Branch Line. Visitors are encouraged to bring any stories and/or memories they may have of the line that extended from Carrollton, N.Y., to Johnsonburg, Pa. There will also be a workbench discussion session for members to highlight any model railroad projects they are currently working on.

Holly Tour

WESTFIELD — The Westfield’s Women’s Organization’s Holly Tour is back for its 32nd year.

A variety of Westfield homes and businesses will be decorated with holiday charm for your touring enjoyment.

The tour will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 12:30-5 p.m.

Tickets are $10 each pre-sale or $15 the day of the tour and are available for purchase in Westfield at Blue June Blooms, Full Strength Coffee Company, Grape Discovery Center and Main St. Salon; in Mayville at Handcrafted From the Heart, and in Lakewood at Bag & String Wine Merchants.

Proceeds benefit local community programs.
