Car Club To Hold Meeting Wednesday

The CLRAACA antique car club will have its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the War Vets Rec on Fluvanna Avenue. Speaking this month will be Paul Mihalko, principal of career and technical education at the E2CCB ­ Hewes Center. Those attending do not have to own an antique auto. Anyone with an interest in antique automobiles are welcome to attend.

Budget Hearing To Be Held Wednesday

A public hearing on Jamestown’s proposed 2023 budget will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the council chambers, located on the second floor of City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. The hearing will also be live streamed at www.jamestownny.gov/live.

Library To Hold Open House

KENNEDY — The Kennedy Free Library is hosting an open house Friday, Nov. 18 from 5-7 p.m. Since opening the new children’s area last fall, many changes have taken place including new shelving. They would like to open their doors to the community to see the beautiful new additions to the library as well as taking an opportunity to thank the Town of Poland board for their continuous support and generous donations to the library. All are welcome to attend, light refreshments will be available.

Computer Basics Classes Taking Place At Patterson Library

A basics computer class is scheduled at the the Patterson Library in Jamestown. The classes are on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. and Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. This class will introduce students to basic uses and abilities of a Windows computer. The class will be taught by Kate Wescott, owner of Pastword Reset. Class size is limited to eight people, so please call the library to reserve your seat before they’re full.

Falconer Library Board To Meet

FALCONER — The Falconer Public Library’s next board meeting will be Thursday at 8 a.m. in the library, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. Janice Dekoff, Chautauqua Cattaraugus Library System executive director, will be attending. The public is welcome to attend.

Sinclairville Library To Hold Musical Club Session

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites the public to participate in a musical club session on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. Those attending should bring their own instruments, with an electric piano and acoustic guitar available for use as well as microphone and amplification equipment. Audience members are also welcome. This program is free and open to all ages. The library is located at 15 Main Street in Sinclairville. The library will be closed November 24-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
