Blood Drive At Chaut. Mall

LAKEWOOD — American Red Cross blood drives will be held from from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood. Additional drives are scheduled at the mall from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and Nov. 25. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. Appointments can be made on the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.
Food Pantry Open Saturday
KENNEDY — The Kennedy United Methodist Church food pantry is open the last Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. The church clothing closet is also available during those hours. These services are open to Falconer School District residents. These services are also available Tuesday late morning and early afternoon by appointment only. Community Helping Hands Opening Annual Christmas Store
Community Helping Hands will be opening their annual Christmas store with many holiday items for sale. Pre-sale tickets to enter the store for shoppers are available on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Regular hours to shop will be Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m. for the first three weeks of November and then the first three weeks in December. The store will be located at the Community Helping Hands building. For more information call 716-487-1488.
