Sherman Community Church To Host Dinner

SHERMAN — Sherman Community Church will host a Swiss steak dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children. Pies will be available for dessert. Take-out orders are available.

After-Prom Planning Meeting Set For Tuesday

FALCONER — A planning meeting for the 2023 Falconer After-Prom event will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer High School guidance office.

Those interested in helping plan this year’s After Prom are asked to attend.

Dr.Erickson To Be Featured Speaker

Dr. Ken Erickson will be the featured speaker on Tuesday, Oct. 25, st 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road addressing the monthly general meeting of the Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots.

Erickson will discuss identity politics and ways conservatives can move forward. Also, the meeting will cover preparation for midterm elections, helping Bobbie Ann Cox, who is waging a legal defense against Governor Kathy Hochul’s proposed new isolation and quarantine rules and what the Tea Party has done recently to push back on the unwanted influence of solar and wind projects in Chautauqua County.

Sewer Board Meeting Set

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors for the Portland, Pomfret, Dunkirk Sewer District on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. The meeting will be at the Town of Dunkirk Town Hall, 4737 Willow Road. The meeting is open to the public.

County IDA To Meet October 25

A board meeting of the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency Board of Directors will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. at the following locations:
