County Planning Boar To Meet October 4th

Free Rabies Clinic To Be Held October 8th

GERRY — The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health will hold a free rabies vaccination clinic from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Gerry Highway Department garage, 4675 Route 60, Gerry. The clinic will be a drive-in clinic and animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. The town of Gerry, along with the Chautauqua County Division of Public Health, will co-sponsor the clinic. Pre-Licensing Driving Course To Be Offered In Frewsburg

FREWSBURG — A five-hour pre-licensing driving course will be offered at Frewsburg High School on Monday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 10 p.m. The cost is $25. Preregister by emailing rhair@frewsburgcsd.org or calling 716-569-7026 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. When calling, make sure to have the student’s learner’s permit on hand.

Trunk Or Treat Planned In Brocton

BROCTON — On Saturday, Oct. 29, from 5-7 p.m., Girl Scout Troop 20264 will host a Trunk or Treat night to celebrate Halloween in the Brocton Central School parking lot. Anyone who would like to help with the event is asked to contact Abigail Spaulding, the leader in charge, at 716-463-9050. Every volunteer will decorate their car and hand out candy to the participating families. There will be prizes for the best decorations. Everyone is encouraged to dress up. The goal is for all youth participating to have a fun, safe and Happy Halloween.
