Bible Study At Kiantone
KIANTONE — The public is invited to a Bible study on the Minor Prophets (Hosea to Malachi). It will be held on Mondays from 11 a.m. to noon beginning Sept. 12 in the fellowship hall of the Kiantone Congregational Church. This is a verse-by-verse study about what the Minor Prophets meant to reveal from God to His people. Verbal interaction, questions and discussion are welcomed while keeping the focus on the meaning of the text and not on what we think the text means to us. Attendees will learn about the character of God, the importance of covenant relationship with Him and know the difference between correctly exegeting (interpreting the text correctly) and incorrectly isogeting (reading into the text what is not there). Call 716-569-2210 for more information.
