Church To Host Fall Rummage Sale

RANDOLPH — The East Randolph United Methodist Church will host a fall rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, and a $1 bag sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 10. Donations may be dropped off at the church Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Chicken BBQ To Be Held During Festival

CASSADAGA — A chicken barbecue will take place during the Labor Day Festival on Sunday. The event, at the Cassadaga American Legion, will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until it is sold out.

Workshops To Be Held On

September 6

The Town of Ellicott will be holding budget workshops on the following dates and times: September 6 at 5 p.m., Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m. and Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. The workshops will be held in the Town Office at 215 S. Work St., Falconer.

Human Rights Commission Meeting To Meet Friday Sept. 9

The Jamestown Human Rights Commission meeting will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the fourth floor police training room. The meeting will be livestreamed at www.jamestownny.gov/live. All public comments should be submitted in writing by 5 p.m. the day before the meeting by sending them to the City Clerk’s office, 200 E. Third St, Jamestown, NY 14701 or email them to clerk@jamestownny.gov.

In-Club Sit-Down Spaghetti Dinner Set For Saturday

Sept. 10

The Marco Polo Club will be holding an in-club, sit-down, spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10. Dinners are $11 for adults, $6 for children. Salad inclusion will be based on availability. Take-out dinners will be available. Drive-through will not be available.

Karaoke Contest Set For Sept. 10

SINCLAIRVILLE — There will be a karaoke contest during the Sinclairville History Fair on Saturday, Sept. 10. The contest will run from 3 to 5 p.m. and is open to anyone wishing to sing in public. There will be $300 in cash prizes to the winners and there is no entry fee. There is a limit of 20 contestants and it is first come, first served.
