Library Board Of Trustees Meeting Postponed

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Memorial Library Board of Trustees meeting that was originally scheduled for today has been postponed to 7 p.m. Thursday at the library, 12 W. Summit St., Lakewood. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Jamestown Public Schools District Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. today in the board room in the Administration Building at 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Fluvanna Free Library To Host Family Concert

On Friday

FLUVANNA — The Fluvanna Free Library will host singer Nan Hoffman in a family concert on Friday at 11 a.m. as part of the library’s summer reading program. A Grand Island resident, Hoffman is known throughout the area for her crisp, clear soprano voice and her use of guitar, autoharp and various other instruments as accompaniment. Her song styles include folk songs and ballads that are both contemporary and traditional along with topical, spiritual, and humorous songs as well. Jamestown Human Rights Commission To Meet Friday

The Jamestown Human Rights Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the fourth floor police training room in Jamestown’s City Hall. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the city’s website, www.jamestownny.gov.

VILLENOVA — The special summer meeting of the Villenova Burial Association that was to be held today has been canceled. There is no plan to reschedule this meeting at this time.

Cars In The Park Event Set

SOUTH DAYTON — On Sunday at 2 p.m. South Dayton Village Park will host a Cars in the Park Event. Individuals who have an antique car or truck are invited to be part of this event.

In addition, there will be a Farmer’s Market and the New York & Lake Erie Train Excursion arrives at the Depot Museum at 2:45 p.m. Come enjoy the past.
