Jackson Center Online Forum To Be Held This

Thursday

The Robert H. Jackson Center will host an online forum at 1 p.m. Thursday of leading experts on Ukraine and international criminal tribunals to discuss how an international tribunal could be established to hold Russia accountable for its invasion of Ukraine and the atrocities being committed. Panel participants include Ambassador Hans Corell, Former Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and the Legal Counsel of the United Nations; David Crane, former Chief Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone and Founder, Global Accountability Network; Ambassador Anton Korynevych, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea; Inna Liniova, executive director of the Ukrainian Bar Association; and Dr. Paul Williams, moderator and co-founder of the Public International Law & Policy Group. Church Tours To Begin Saturday

The Fenton History Center will host tours of four local churches — Temple Hesed Abraham, Christian Missionary Alliance, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox and St. Elia Albanian Orthodox — on Saturday. The cost is $10 for non-members and free for Fenton History Center members. The group will meet at the Christian Missionary Alliance at 1011 W. Happy Days To Perform In Busti

BUSTI — ‘Happy Days’ will perform in the gazebo in Busti from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday. The group includes Gabriel Giuffre on the keyboard and Mary Giuffre on the drums. The oldies music of the Blues Brothers, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Tom Jones, Tina Turner, and more will entertain everyone of all ages. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of wonderful and relaxing music. Sponsors include the Busti Hamlet Development Association and the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.

Vikings Resume Family Picnic

After a two-year hiatus, the Jamestown Viking Lodge will hold its popular family picnic Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. at the Viking Lake Park. There will be food, games and prizes for all ages. All Vikings and their families are welcome.

Outdoor Worship Service Set For This Sunday

The Magnolia United Methodist Church at 3969 Route 394, Magnolia, just north of Stow, will be worshiping outside with a sing-along on Sunday at 11 a.m. The service will be followed by a picnic at 12:30 p.m. Those attending should bring a dish to pass, table service, and a lawn chair. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided. All are welcome to attend worship only, or the picnic only, or both.

Bible School Set For August 1-5

KENNEDY — The vacation Bible school, ‘Zoomerang’ will be held at Clark’s Corners Community Church, 1 Gospel Lane, Kennedy, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 1-5. Classes are available for children ages 3 and up through sixth grade.
