Class Of 1957 To Meet In Sept.

The Jamestown High School Class of 1957 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Shawbucks Press Room Restaurant for an informal get together and light buffet. On Sunday, Sept. 11, brunch will be held at 10 a.m. at the Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club. All money is due by Monday, Aug. 1. Women’s Club To Host

Member-Guest Lunch

The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, with social time at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The program is a history of Celoron Park with speaker Thomas Goodwill. Final Weeks

Of Summer

Playground

Program

The Jamestown Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department is announcing a change for the upcoming final weeks of the Summer Playground Program. Effective immediately, due to the minimal number of children attending the program at the Jackson Taylor Park, the program will be held solely at the Lillian Dickson Park on Falconer Street. The program will continue Monday through Friday, with the last day being Aug. 12. Hours will remain the same, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free summer lunch program, provided by the YMCA, will continue to be distributed at both the Lillian Dickson Park as well as the Jackson Taylor Park between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Participating children will need to sign up each day in order to receive lunch for the following day. The meals will be available to children ages 18 and under. The summer playground program is made possible through support from the city of Jamestown. For additional information, call the Recreation Office at 716-483-7523.

Music In The Park In South

Dayton Gazebo To Take Place On Wednesday

SOUTH DAYTON — South Dayton Music in the Park in the South Dayton Gazebo from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday will feature Osborn Nash. Those attending should bring lawn chairs. Refreshments are available. Also Wednesday during the music concert, an art class will be held at the Depot to make a bowling pin door stopper with Peg VanWormer. The class is free to everyone.

10th Annual

DogGone Good Yard Sale To Be Held On Friday And Saturday

WESTFIELD — The 10th annual DogGone Good Yard Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield. There will be basket giveaways and deals on antiques, furniture, jewelry, purses, sporting goods, toys, holiday decor, home decor, crafts, linens, lawn and garden items and more. Proceeds help support the shelter.
