Farmland Protection Board Meets Today

The Chautauqua County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board will be holding a meeting at 9 a.m. today. The meeting will be held and is open for the public to attend in person at either the Gerace Office Building, Room 331, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville, or the Fredonia Technology Incubator, first floor large conference room, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Videoconferencing will be used. Annual Family Reunion Held In Lakewood

The 43rd annual Fish-Coon extended family reunion was held Sunday, July 3, at the YWCA Lake Lodge on Chautauqua Lake in Lakewood. Millie and Mike Coon Co-chaired the event and coordinated the activities. There was 31 in attendance and Jim Rath, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, traveled the farthest to attend. Kathy and Tim Coon will co-chair next year’s reunion to be held Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the YWCA Lake Lodge.

Rodeo City Seniors To Meet Friday

GERRY — The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the United Methodist Church for a luncheon and program. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to share and their own table service. The program will follow.

Summer Concert Season Kicks Off

FALCONER ­– The Falconer Public Library will be sponsoring summer band concerts every Thursday evening in July. The concerts will take place in Davis Park, directly across the street from the library at 101 W. Main St. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. If there is inclement weather, the concerts will be at the Falconer Fire Department, 115 Davis St. Concerts include the Kokomo Time Band this Thursday; the Dixie Band on July 14; Pat Cook and Some Kinda Trouble on July 21; and Pearl City Jazz on July 28.

County Health Board Meets July 21

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Board of Health will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in the HRC Building, B-14, basement level conference room, 7 N. Erie St., Mayville. Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications, and not read during privilege of the floor. Public comments at the meetings during the privilege of the floor must be made in person.
