Participate In Yard Sales
SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library will participate in the village yard sales on Saturday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To help the library, donations of items to be sold are welcome and can be brought to the library on Thursday, July 7, between 2-7 p.m. or Friday, July 8, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Items that remain unsold will be donated elsewhere as appropriate. For additional information or to volunteer, call the library at 716-962-5885. The library will be closed on July 4 for Independence Day.
Valley Historical
Society To Hold Meeting On Tuesday
SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will hold its July meeting at the museum in Sinclairville on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The program will be on the history of the Declaration of Independence. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. Anyone interested in local history is invited to attend.

Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ Fundraiser s To Be Held
LAKEWOOD — Prevention Works will be having one of its annual Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue fundraisers on Tuesday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood in the parking lot between Olive Garden and Taco Bell. The dinners are drive-through only. Tickets are $14 and include a half chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, and a roll with butter. Luncheon In Warren To Be Held On Tuesday July 12
The Jamestown-Warren Christian Women will host their July luncheon at Pellegrino Italian Market, 445 Conewango Ave., Warren, on Tuesday, July 12, at noon with guitar music by Bart Green of Warren and speaker Linda Dingeldein, Calvary Baptist Church, Warren, discussing her new book on prayer. An Italian buffet lunch will be $17. Last month’s guests heard Dawn Larson give a history of the Crossings Cafe, its mission is to serve the community as a gathering place for Christian Bible study, concerts, food, coffee, counseling, and fellowship for those with limited social contacts. Christian music was provided by David and Sue Ford of Jamestown plus their testimony of how these two recently widowed Christians found each other. Christian Women is a part of Village Missions Country Partners, which through donations of its guests, help place trained pastors in failing churches with dwindling congregations in danger of closing over the country.
