Ivory Cemetery Meeting Saturday

FREWSBURG — The annual meeting of the Ivory Cemetery Association located on Emery Hill Road, Frewsburg, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Ivory Baptist Church, 633 Ivory Road, Frewsburg. The public is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Any headstone decorative items that have been left over the winter and have become weathered will be discarded soon after the meeting. Any item wished to be kept should be removed before Saturday.

Outdoor Club To Hike In Pa.

Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike on Pennsylvania State Game Lands 1243 on Spetz Hill, Spring Creek, Pa., on Sunday. The hike will be moderate and about 5 miles. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren by 1:30 p.m. Earl Ross will be leading this hike and can be reached at 814-726-3920 or 814-706-1198 for any questions.

Putt-Putt Around The Point Sunday

Putt-Putt around the Point will be held during the Bemus Open on Sunday, May 15, from 1-5 p.m. The village-wide fundraiser is sponsored by the Bemus Point Business Association. All funds raised will go toward this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show, funded solely by community donations, fundraisers and sponsorships. Teams of four are invited to dress in their best and take part in nine miniature golf holes at participating businesses. Participants will sign in beginning at noon at The Musky Mall (Alburtus Avenue), where they will receive their score cards, maps and a gift for participating. Players must also bring their own putter. Teams will wrap up their games by 5 p.m. and head to the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House for a brief awards ceremony. First place team will receive a cash prize.

Kiantone Maple Grove Cemetery meeting Monday

KIANTONE — The annual meeting of the Kiantone Maple Grove Cemetery Association will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 16, at Kiantone Congregational Church in the fellowship hall. All lot owners and families are invited.

Children’s Art To Be On Display At Library

KENNEDY — The Kennedy Free Library is hosting an art show featuring the art work of Mrs. Obrist’s classes at Paul B.D. Temple elementary. The show will take place at the library Wednesday, May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. This is a free event open to the community and refreshments will be provided.
