The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room of the Administration Building, 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Auxiliary Board Meeting

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Area Rod and Gun Auxiliary Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The auxiliary will hold its annual Christmas dinner and installation of officers at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13. Attendees must have a paid dinner reservation to attend. The entertainment will feature the Kokomo TIme Band. The board will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program.

FCS Board Meeting At 6:30 p.m. Thurs. Dec. 9

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School Board will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the middle-high school library. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to contact Laura Smith, district clerk, by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling 716-569-7041 or emailing lsmith@frewsburgcsd.org. Masks must be worn at all times in the building regardless of vaccination status.

The Marvin Community House is hosting its annual holiday luncheon with special giveaways and a fashion show courtesy of GG My Love on Friday, Dec. 10. NORTH HARMONY — The town of North Harmony is holding a Christmas lighting contest, with winners to be announced Monday, Dec. 27, on the town’s website at www.townofnorthharmony.com. The deadline to enter is 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21. The contest is open only to North Harmony residents, with prizes given for the first-, second- and third-place winners.
