Nov. Craft Show Canceled

The Gerry Fire department’s Auxiliary is canceling its traditional holiday craft show for November due to the uncertainty of what state mandated COVID-19 restrictions will be in place at that time. The event has been held at the rodeo conference center for the past 38 years on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and features more than 20 vendors whose wares must be hand crafted, as well as offering homemade food and a visit from Santa. Spokesperson Cherin Mehs says they are disappointed about the cancellation since it is a fundraising event for the auxiliary in their efforts to support the fire department. However, she says they plan to sponsor the craft show at a date in late spring of 2022. Anyone with questions can contact her at 985-4257
