Octoberfest At Legion

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg American Legion Post 556 will host Octoberfest on Friday and Saturday. The event will include German food Friday and Saturday, Live music will take place Saturday night.

Zoom Meeting For Small

Development

The next Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College Women in Networking program will be held online via Zoom at noon Thursday, Oct. 14. The speaker will be Brenda Kilianski, who will discuss best practices and tips for conducting market research. She has been a librarian for the NY SBDC’s research network in Albany since August 2019. Working for more than three decades in the library profession, her previous positions included a three-year stint as the hospital library services program manager for the Southeastern NY Library Resources Council while later spending 10 years as an award-winning researcher for the Chicago Tribune. Members of the Kiantone Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. today to discuss its upcoming Election Day drive-through dinner. New members are welcome.

FALCONER — Members of the Falconer Village Board will hold a work session meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the Firemen’s Exempt Hall, 3 Coleson Dr., Falconer. The regular village board meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the same location.

FALCONER — All summer decorations must be removed from Pine Hill Cemetery grave sites prior to the end of day Monday, Oct. 11. Any remaining items will be discarded.
