Quilters’ Guild Meet This Sat.

Members of the Westfield Quilters’ Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the YWCA in Westfield. This month’s program is all about the Red and White Block Exchange, including a trunk show of block exchange quilts.

Historical Society Meeting

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Historical Society will meet on Alburtus Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. as the group welcomes Karen Livsey and Sam Genco for a discussion on — Chautauqua Obscura — Little known facts of the history of Chautauqua County. — The Bemus Point Historical Society Museum will be open to visitors prior to the event from 6:30-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Lakewood Area Rod And Gun Meet This Thurs.

LAKEWOOD ­­– The Lakewood Area Rod and Gun Auxiliary Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The auxiliary meeting and Harvest Dinner will be Monday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. Members attending are asked to bring a dish to pass. The program for the evening is “Steal the gift” game. Greeters Arline Hazenberg and Karen Carlson will be in charge of game tickets, one per person. Helpers are Dottie Enlow and Coralyn Boehler. Nomination of officers for 2022 will also take place. If interested in running for an office, contact a club officer. The annual Christmas DInner will take place on Monday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. The program will feature the Kokomo Band.

Rodeo City Senior Citizens Meet For Lunch And Program

GERRY — The Rodeo City Senior Citizens of Gerry will meet at noon Friday in the Gerry United Methodist Church for a lunch and program. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to share, and their own table service. The Fun Auction will be held, and all items being donated for the auction should have a brief message on the item. New members are always welcome.

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop Stocked For Winter

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St. between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, Jamestown, is now well-stocked with winter jackets and coats for ladies and men’s winter jackets. There’s also a nice selection of winter clothing for children. The housewares department is well-stocked with recent high end donations and includes fall and Halloween items. Off-street parking is available in the church lot off East Fifth Street. Masks and social distancing are required.

Annual Election Day Dinner On Nov. 2

KENNEDY — The Kennedy Free Library will hold its annual Election Day dinner at the Kennedy Free Library from 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 2. Tickets are available presale at the library for $12. There will be limited availability at the door. Take out is also available presale. Meals will include turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetable, stuffing, roll and pie/dessert. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and three basket raffles. For questions, please call 267-4265.
