Gazebo Concert Set For Wed.

SOUTH DAYTON — Creeek Bend Country will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the South Dayton Gazebo on the South Dayton Village Green. The rain location is American Legion Pavilion, 4 Mill St., South Dayton.

Land Bank To Meet Wednesday

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation board will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. The public is welcome to attend — security and COVID protocols are followed at the county office building. Monthly land bank board meetings are conducted to discuss business associated with the acquisition and potential sale of property by the land b ank and other official business as required, Agendas will be provided at the meetings. Marvin House Sets Take-Outs

The Marvin Community House in Jamestown is offering take-out meals Thursday between 3-4 p.m. that will include homemade macaroni and cheese, barbecued pulled pork, cole slaw, Marvin House pickles and blueberry cobbler. Meals will be available between 3-4 p.m. Reservations can be made by sending an email to marvinhouse@netsync.net or calling 488-6206. The cost is $17 for members and $20 for non-members.

Scandinavian Echoes Program Archived

The Facebook and YouTube program called “Scandinavian Echoes” has produced a special program just about Swedish Jamestown. The program is broadcast from Long Island and has an audience of 3,000 to 5,000 people. Included are local folk dancers from Thule Lodge including the children’s folk team dancing with Queen Sylvia from Sweden. There will also be highlights and music from other past local events and groups visiting Jamestown. On Facebook, enter ScandinavianEchoes at 6 p.m. and on YouTube beginning at 7 p.m. also at ScandinavianEchoes. The program will be archived at these sites for the future.

Library Plans Youth Meeting

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites community members to participate in a conversation to discuss ideas for collaboration as we tackle the challenge of meeting the educational needs of our children. Meetings will be hybrid, with the opportunity to meet in person at the library or online via Zoom. Participants may attend one or both of these meetings, and pre-registration is required. Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 24 at 9 a.m. Those interested in taking part in the conversation are asked to contact Beth Hadley at director@sinclairvillelibrary.org. This program is made possible through an engagement grant from the American Library Association.

Village Board To Meet Thursday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Village Board will hold a special board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the village office, 8 Lester St., Sinclairville. All those interested are welcome to attend.
