School Board To Meet Monday
BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the STEAM room at Maple Grove High School on Dutch Hollow Road. An executive session will be held before the meeting. Face masks will be required to attend the meeting, which will also be streamed live. The board will continue to accept public comment via Zoom Rules document, which can be found at bemusptcsd.org.
Library Seeks Donations
LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Memorial Library will participate in this year’s Give Big CHQ 2021 online donation campaign. Donations to the library will be used to improve a teen/young adult space within the library as well as the book selection and programming for the same age group. Church To Hold Rummage Sale
ASHVILLE — There will be a rummage sale on Friday and Saturday, June 18, and June 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Watts Flats United Methodist Church, Blockville-Watts Flats Road, Ashville. Many items, including furniture to be purchased by a donation to the church, will be available. A lunch will also be available to purchase.
Golden Agers To Hold Meeting
LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Lakewood American Legion. The speaker will be Rob Smith from the code enforcement office of the city of Jamestown. The May meeting included a pork dinner provided and served by the Lakewood American Legion. It was enjoyed by all.
