School Board To Meet Monday

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the STEAM room at Maple Grove High School on Dutch Hollow Road. An executive session will be held before the meeting. Face masks will be required to attend the meeting, which will also be streamed live. The board will continue to accept public comment via Zoom Rules document, which can be found at bemusptcsd.org.

Panama School Board To Meet

PANAMA — The Panama Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria. The public is invited to view the meeting virtually at pancent.org.

Ripley School Board To Meet

RIPLEY — Members of the Ripley Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, via Zoom to vote on the BOCES administrative budget and election of BOCES board members. A regular meeting of the school board will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in the Ripley Central School cafeteria. Social distancing will be practiced and masks must be worn.

Antique Assn. Sets Meeting

The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at the Laona Church. All members are invited to attend.

Blood Drive To Be Held April 22

An American Red Cross blood drdive will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 22 at the Jamestown chapter building, 325 E. Fourth St. Each Red Cross blood drive and donation center follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and additional precautions including temperature checks, social distancing and face masks for donors and staff have been implemented to help protect the health of all those in attendance. Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive and are required to wear a face mask while at the drive, in alignment with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention public guidance. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. County IDA To Meet April 27

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. April 27 via live stream on YouTube instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may view the board meeting by visiting YouTube and searching “County of Chautauqua IDA”. Once on the webpage, viewers can click on “videos” to watch the live stream. Minutes of the board meeting will transcribed and posted on the agency’s website, once approved by the board. The agenda for this meeting will be posted at ccida.com under “News” and “Agenda” prior to the start of the meeting.
