Rec Grounds Are Now Open

SINCLAIRVILLE — The village of Sinclairville recreation grounds have been opened to the public. Social distancing and face masks will be required.

Alumni Assn. Cancels Banquet

Due to possible COVID-19 restrictions, the Panama Central Alumni Association has canceled its June 19 banquet this year. Information on the June 2022 banquet will be made available next year.

Walk-A-Thon Set For April 24

CASSADAGA — The 15th annual “They Marched For Us, Let’s Walk For Them” walk-a-thon will be held fom 10 a.m. to 2 p.mm. Saturday, April 24, starting at Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280. There will also be a chicken barbecue starting at noon and served until meals are gone. The cost of the barbecue is $10. Library Board To Meet Thursday

LAKEWOOD — Members of the Lakewood Memorial Library board of trustees will meet via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8. Information on accessing the meeting may be found on the library’s website.

Falconer Village Board Sets

Budget Hearing

FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will hold a work session and its annual organizational meeting and budget hearing on Monday, April 12. In order to provide adequate space for in-person social distancing, both meetings will be held in the Firemen’s Exempt Hall located at 3 Coleson Dr. in Falconer. The work session will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by the annual meeting and hearing at 7 p.m. For further information, call the village clerk at 665-4400.

Water District To Hold Meeting

SHERIDAN — The North County Water District board will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 8, in the Sheridan Community Building, 2773 Route 20, Sheridan. The meeting is open to the public and subject to current COVID-19 guidelines- number of attendees will be subject to room limits per COVID restrictions and all participants must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing requirements.

Road Closure Is Announced

County bridge 429 on Hartfield-Centralia Road in the town of Chautauqua, between Meadows and Wright roads, will be closed to all traffic effective Monday, April 12. This closure is for replacement of the culvert and a detour will be posted. The closure will remain in effect until the replacement is complete and the barricades and signs are removed.

Sewer District To Meet Tuesday

The administrative board of the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet by video conference at noon Tuesday, April 6. Those wishing to join the meeting can call 646-558-8656 with the ID 999-449-0210.
