Spaghetti Dinner Set For Saturday

The Marco Polo Club will be holding a take-out spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. All customers are asked to enter the parking lot for pickup via the Dexter Street entrance and proceed to the doors on the side of the club. Patrons must remain in their vehicles, and masks must be worn when picking up an order. Dinners are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Land Bank To Meet Wednesday

Members of the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. will gather online at 9 a.m. Wednesday for its annual board meeting and monthly meeting, during which board committee and officers are voted in. The public is welcome to attend; to register, send an email to gparadis@chautauqualandbank.org with a request to register for the meeting, with name, address and phone number. A link and password will then be sent. A recording of the meeting will be available afterward. The monthly meetings of the CCLBC are conducted to discuss business associated with the acquisition and potential sale of property by CCLBC and other official business as required.

JPD Names Community Resources Officer

The Jamestown Police Department has named officer Matt Rhinehart as the community resources officer. Rhinehart is a five-year member of the department and will be “instrumental in achieving several goals in the upcoming year, including achieving department accreditation by the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services, Neighborhood Watch, organizing community meetings, attending community functions and other community outreach initiatives,” JPD said in a news release.

Marvin House Sets Takeout

The Marvin House in Jamestown is offering take-out meals Thursday between 3-4 p.m. that will include chicken and biscuits, apple sauce, mashed potatoes, peas and glazed cherry pie bars. Reservations for dinners can be made by sending an email to marvinhouse@netsync.net or calling 488-6206. The cost is $17 for members and $20 for non-members.

Frewsburg To Meet Thursday

The Frewsburg Central School District will hold a budget workshop at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the middle-high school library. The regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m. Those who wishes to attend in-person should inform the district clerk at 569-7041 or lsmith@frewsburgcsd.org by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting. Sewer District To Meet Wednesday

MAYVILLE — There will be a meeting of the directors of the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board to follow the joint meeting of the county Sewer Districts at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Legislative Chambers at the Gerace Office Building in Mayville.
