Health Board To Meet Remotely On Jan. 21

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Board of Health will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, by remote access. To view the meeting online, go to facebook.com/myhealthycounty/. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the public may participate in privilege of the floor by emailing a statement prior to the Board of Health meeting to raters@co.chautauqua.ny.us. Emailed statements shall be read during the privilege of the floor.

Holiday Lighting Contest Winner Is Announced

GERRY — The Gerry United Methodist Church has announced the winner of its Christmas Lighting Contest as the Matthew Reiff family on Damon Hill. Special thanks to this deserving recipient and the others who entered this year.

Cornell Co-Op To Meet Via Zoom On Jan. 25

The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County board will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at via Zoom. To attend pre-register by calling 664-9502.

Lake Agency To Meet Virtually

The Chautauqua Lake Protection and Rehabilitation Agency will meet at 3 p.m. today. The meeting will be livestreamed at facebook.com/ChautauquaCountyGovernment.

School Board To Convene Thurs. In Library

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the middle-high school library. Those who wish to attend are asked to contact the district clerk at 569-7041 or by email at lsmith@frewsburgcsd.org by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting. Face masks must by worn and social distancing required when attending in-person. The meeting also will be streamed live at https://ensemble.e2ccb.org/Watch/FrewsburgCSDBOE.

Sewer District Sets Jan. 19 Meeting

Members of the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 2 Academy St. in the village of Mayville at the town of Chautauqua meeting room. Due to social distancing and COVID precautions, the public may only attend the through a phone conference number. To attend the meeting, call the district office at 753-7787 to be given the conference number and access code before the meeting.

Panel Delays Date For Pavilion Reservations

FALCONER — Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Falconer Village Board has decided to postpone the start date for reserving a pavilion in Falconer Park for this summer. The tentative start date for village resident reservations is mid-April, with non-resident reservations slated to begin about two weeks after that. The final decisions on opening the village parks, including pavilion usage, is yet to be determined and will be based strongly on public safety recommendations from county and state officials.
