Reed’s Staff To Hold Remote Office Hours

A member of U.S. Rep. Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday at 342 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Staff will be available to answer questions, gather feedback, and provide assistance with immigration, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, and other issues related to federal agencies. County Offices Announce

Holiday Hours

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel has announced that many county government offices will be closing early to the public on Christmas Eve. On Dec. 24, a majority of county departments will be closing at noon. This early closure will not impact essential services such as the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District, Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities (including its divisions of administration, airports, buildings and grounds, CARTS, highway, and landfill and transfer stations), which will all operate as usual.

Fenton History Center To Host Open House

The Fenton History Center will hold an open house Saturday. “The Nutcracker” exhibit features costumes from Jamestown’s own Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet’s performances of “The Nutcracker.” Other holiday exhibits include the upside-down Christmas Tree as well as take and make activites for the kids, and some fun photo and game opportunities. Open house is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 adults, members and children 17 and under free. Exhibit is open through Jan. 6.
