City Council To Hold Special Meeting Monday

A special meeting of the Jamestown City Council will be held at 7 p.m. Monday via Zoom. The meeting is to discuss and to take possible action to override the mayor’s veto regarding the general operating budget.

Drive-Through Living Nativity Scene Set

RANDOLPH — A drive-through Living Nativity will be held at East Randolph United Methoidst Church. Those attending are asked to remain in their vehicles at all times. If you choose to open your windows, you must wear a mask. This year, the event will be held for the next two Saturdays, Dec. 12, and Dec. 19, from 7-8 p.m. The event is free to the public. To enter, turn onto Cemetery Road from Route 394 in East Randolph. Proceed to the church parking lot by following the signs. Everyone is invited to come celebrate the magic of Christmas and relive the birth of Jesus.

Republican Party To Hold Caucus

WESTFIELD –The Westfield Republican Party will hold a caucus on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 5:30 p.m. at Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield. The purpose of the caucus is to nominate candidates seeking the Republican line on the ballot for the March 16 Village of Westfield election. The positions open on the ballot include mayor, two trustees and village justice. All COVID-19 restrictions currently in effect at Eason Hall will be enforced during the caucus.
