Marvin House Sets Takeout Dinner Thursday

The Marvin House in Jamestown will be offering meals for take out on Thursday that include apple sauce, rosemary roasted pork roast, oven roasted potatoes, carrots and parsnips, homemade bread and gingerbread cake with caramel topping. The cost is $17 for members and $20 for non-members, and reservations can be made by sending an email to Marvinhouse@netsync.net or by calling the Marvin House at 488-6206

School Board To Meet Today

Tech Panel To Meet Thurs.

St. John’s Sets

Dinner, Dec. 19

St. John’s UCC will prepare a Swiss steak dinner on Saturday, Dec. 19. Dinner will include Swiss steak, vegetable, roll, dessert and a small holiday treat. Those who want to order one or more dinners could then have a small dinner in their home, for themselves or with a few close friends or relatives. Tickets are $11 each, and must be pre-ordered by Friday. Meals may be picked up in the church parking lot from 4:30 to 5:30 on Saturday, Dec. 19. Tickets may be ordered by calling the church office at 366-0710. St. John’s UCC accepts cash or checks. Tickets will be mailed to those purchasing tickets.

Blood Drive To Be Held Friday

At Riverwalk

The Community Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Riverwalk Wellness Center, 15 S. Main St., Suite 300 Jamestown. Precautionary measures include all donors and staff members being required to wear masks, temperatures of all personnel at the blood collection location are taken prior to entering the blood drive, extra sanitation measures are taken in between every donor and donors are to adhere to social distancing protocols. Community Blood Bank partners with hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York to provide blood for patients in need. Individuals are eligible to give blood if it has been 56 days since their last donation; they are at least 17 years of age (16 with parental consent); weigh at least 110 pounds; have not received a tattoo or body piercing in the past three months; are in good general health and do not have a cold or the flu. 4-Her’s To Hold Saturday Dinner

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua County 4-H Beef Project is holding a takeout-only spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the Stockton Fire Hall. Dinner includes Joe Conti’s spaghetti dinner with homemade meatballs, bread, salad and dressing and dessert.

Dinners can be purchased for $8 each the day of the dinner.

Meals will be given directly to customers in their car. This fundraiser will help support the project throughout this year.
