Water Test Set For Thursday

A quarterly fire system water flow test will be conducted at a warehouse at 101 Jackson Ave. in the morning on Thursday. Water in Celoron and west toward Lakewood may become discolored and take 12 to 24 hours to clear.

Marvin House Sets Takeout Meals Thurs.

The Marvin House in Jamestown will be offering takeout meals Thursday that will include baked beans, mac and cheese, cole slaw, pulled pork and lemon bars. The cost is $17 for members and $20 for non-members. Reservation for dinners can be made by sending an email to marvinhouse@netsync.net or calling the Marvin House at 488-6206.

Land Bank Corp. To Meet Wed.

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday via Zoom. The public is welcome to attend. To register, email gparadis@chautauqualandbank.org for the link and password. A recording of the meeting will be available afterward. The monthly meetings of the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation are conducted to discuss business associated with the acquisition and potential sale of property by Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation and other official business as required, agendas will be provided at the meetings. Elks Lodge To Hold Veterans Breakfast

The Jamestown Elks Lodge No. 263, located at 339 E. Fourth St., will hold its annual Veterans breakfast on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Any veteran is invited to stop down for a complimentary breakfast. Masks are required and the club will be practicing social distancing.

Coalition Sets Virtual Meeting

The Coalition of Chautauqua County Women and Girls will hold its first virtual gathering featuring author Susan Straight at 4 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom in partnership with Chautauqua Institution. To register for the virtual event, visit www.cccwomen.org. There is no charge to participate.

School Board Meets Thursday

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school library. Anyone who wishes to attend should contact Laura Smith, district clerk, at 569-7041 or lsmith@frewsburgcsd.org to make arrangements by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.

Spaghetti Dinner To Be Held

Saturday

The Marco Polo Club will be holding a take-out spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 on Saturday. Patrons are recommended to call 665-3309 in advance to order. All customers are asked to enter the parking lot for pickup via the Dexter Street entrance and proceed to the doors on the side of the club. Patrons must remain in their vehicles, and masks must be worn when picking up order. Dinners are $10 for adults, and $5 for children.
