Helping Hands Seeks Support From Community

Community Helping Hands is seeking the community’s support as they participate in Give Big CHQ, a countywide fundraising campaign. This campaign, running through Thursday, focuses on giving back to nonprofits in Chautauqua County. All donations made to CHH will be matched dollar for dollar up to $1,000. Community Helping Hands is a nonprofit in downtown Jamestown that offers a hand up to those in need. CHH focuses on serving those in poverty by providing furniture, clothing, essential household appliances and medical supplies to around 2,500 people each year. This nonprofit empowers people to help themselves by providing high-quality job training and helping people find meaningful employment. Those who would like to support CHH are asked to visit givebigchq.org and search for “Community Helping Hands,” or send a check to 31 Water St., Jamestown.
