Zoning Board Will Not Hold Meeting

Due to a lack of agenda items, there will be no Jamestown Zoning Board of Appeals meeting in June.

Farmers Market To Be Held

CASSADAGA — Citizens for a Better Cassadaga, in conjunction with Roberto Fred Farms, announced that the Cassadaga Farmers Market will be starting on Sunday, June 14. As in the past, the market will take place every Sunday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. through Sept. 13. The market will be held at Ames Common on the corner of Route 60 and Maple Avenue in the village of Cassadaga. Fred Farms will be offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. Maple syrup, honey and special food items will be available as well. Vendors of locally produced products that are interested in joining the market are asked to contact Roberto Fred at 410-3817.

Give Big CHQ Event Is Today

In addition to supporting local nonprofit organizations, Give Big CHQ will also promote locally owned small businesses throughout this year’s event from June 1-11. Today at 11 a.m., Jonathan Weston, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce director of member marketing, will interview Tory Irgang, Community Foundation executive director live on the Chamber’s Facebook page.

Parks, Rec Panel Meeting Nixed

The Jamestown Parks, Recreation & Conservation Commission meeting originally scheduled for today has been canceled. The commission will resume meeting Sept. 1.

Historical Society Will Not Meet

BLOCKVILLE — The Harmony Historical Society business meeting will not meet today as previously scheduled.

Health Board To Meet June 18

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Board of Health will meet Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. by remote access. The meeting can be viewed live at facebook.com/myhealthycounty/. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the public may participate in privilege of the floor by emailing a statement prior to the Board of Health meeting to raters@co.chautauqua.ny.us. Emailed statements shall be read during the privilege of the floor.

Barbecue Is Set For Saturday

FALCONER — The Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion, West Main Street, Falconer, will host a chicken barbecue on Saturday from noon-5 p.m. or until sold out. The public is welcome to attend the drive-through service. The cost is $10 per dinner.

Falconer Board To Meet Mon.

FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Falconer Public Library. Strict safe social distancing practices will be followed.
