Syringe Exchange Program Moved

Beginning this week, the Syringe Exchange Program in Jamestown will be temporarily relocated to 320 Prather Ave., Suite 100. The hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, will remain the same.

Marvin House To Continue Takeout

The Marvin House is continuing its takeout service today with rosemary pork roast, oven roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, mixed salad and Hello Dolly bars. On April 9 will be sweet and sour meatloaf, Brussels sprout salad, cheesy potatoes, seasonal vegetables and lemon bars. The cost for each meal is $17 for Marvin House members and $20 for non-members. Dinners will be pre-packaged and ready for pick up between 3-4 p.m. each Thursday by driving into Mechanic Alley beside the Marvin House and meals will be put into the trunk. Quantities are limited and can be reserved by calling 488-6206.

JPS Board To Meet Friday

A special meeting of the Jamestown Board of Education will take place on Friday at 5 p.m. to discuss the ongoing search for a superintendent. The board will be meeting by teleconference, and the public portion of the meeting will be streamed live, recorded and posted on the district’s website.
