Class Of 1965 Reunion Is Set

The Jamestown High School Class of 1965 will hold its 55th reunion Saturday, Aug. 1, at 5:30 p.m. at Jamestown Brewing Company 119 W. Third St., Jamestown. More details will be sent out in mid-March to make reservations.

Library Trustees To Hold Meeting

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Library Board of Trustees will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the library. The public is welcome to attend.

Lenten Services Are Slated

The First Lutheran mid-week Lenten services will begin with Ash Wednesday on Feb. 26. Worship service in the Chapel will take place from noon-12:25 p.m. followed by lunch in the parlors. Mid-week services will be held through April 8. The public is welcome to attend.

Pancake Supper Set For Feb. 25

WESTFIELD — St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 12 Elm St., Westfield, will host its Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 5:30 p.m. A traditional pancake race will follow. Ash services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., with the Rev. Elizabeth Hadaway presiding. For more information, call 326-2064.

Spaghetti Dinner To Be Held

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, from 5-7 p.m. at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown. The fundraiser will help pay for medical expenses for Russell, Pa., resident Patricia Spicer, following her battle with cancer. A donation of $15 will be accepted, and walk-ins are welcome. JCC, Edinboro Approve Pact

A new transfer agreement between Jamestown Community College and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania has been signed. JCC graduates who hold an Associate in Science degree in liberal arts and sciences: mathematics and sciences can transfer up to the equivalent of 89 credit hours into EU’s fermentation science program if they meet grade point and course requirements. Located in northwestern Pennsylvania, Edinboro University is a public, four-year university offering associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees serving 4,600 undergraduate and graduate students. Pre-Licensing Course To Be Held March 14

RANDOLPH — Randolph Central School will sponsor a five hour pre-licensing course on Saturday, March 14, from 8a.m. to 1 p.m. To register, call 358-7008 during regular school hours to enroll. The cost of the course is $30. Those attending should have their valid state learner’s permit on hand when registering.
