School Board To Meet Today

SALAMANCA — The Salamanca City Central School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting today at 4 p.m. in the high school large group instruction room. This meeting will be an executive session for the purpose of litigation and contracts.

Psychic Fun Fest In Cassadaga

CASSADAGA — Area residents are invited to come enjoy Fellowships of the Spirit’s Psychic Fun Fest on Saturday at 282 Dale Drive, Cassadaga, rain or shine. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Fun Fest will offer mini-readings, holistic vendors, free healings and lunch with free admission and parking. Concert Series Resumes In Busti

The Busti Gazebo Concert Series continues from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday with The Rustic Ramblers performing country music. The band includes Howard Buck from Fredonia on lead guitar and vocals, David Bailey from Hartfield on drums and vocals, Jim Lanphere from Fredonia on bass and vocals, and Gene Hilts from West Valley on steel guitar. Those attending should bring lawn chairs. The concert series is sponsored by the Busti Hamlet Development Association and the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. Eagles To Host Saturday Benefit

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is hosting a benefit Saturday from 1-5 p.m. for the Blackwell Chapel Baby Cafe to help cover costs to support and encourage breastfeeding moms and families. The event will include live music, food and fellowship while being a blessing to someone else. The Eagles is located at 329 E. Fourth St. Pre-sale tickets cost $5.

Village Caucus On Wednesday

LAKEWOOD — The village of Lakewood Republican Caucus will be held Wednesday ay 6 p.m., at the Lakewood Baptist Church on Erie Street. The offices up for election are Lakewood mayor and two Lakewood trustee seats. Check-in will begin at 5 p.m. and the caucus will start promptly at 6 p.m.

Area Youth To Hold Car Wash

The Salvation Army’s Youth Group will be holding a car wash and can drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the back parking lot at 83 S. Main St. location. Donations will be accepted for the car wash and proceeds benefit the youth group.

Child Safety Seat Check In Olean

The state Department of Motor Vehicles and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee will host a free child seat inspection from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 30 at 6 Leo Mass Drive, Olean. The safety seat events aim to ensure parents and caregivers understand how to choose an appropriate seat for the child’s age and size and how to install the seat correctly. Trained technicians will use the model of “Learn, Practice­­­ and Explain” to educate caregivers on how to select a child restraint that will fit their child, fit their vehicle and be used correctly every time.
