Food Truck At

Ashville U.M.

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Senior Council To Visit Casino

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, there will be a customer appreciation day at the Seneca Niagara Casino. Members of the United Senior Council are hosting a trip to the casino that day. The cost is $35 per person, open to anyone. The cost includes transportation, free buffet and $30 in slots.

Mayville Class Of ’79 Reunion Set

MAYVILLE — The 40th class reunion of the Mayville Central School Class of 1979 will be held Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20, in Mayville. An informal gathering for cocktails and dinner on Friday will begin at 7 p.m. at Big Inlet Brewing, 6169 Elm Flats Road. On Saturday there will be a barbecue with an old-fashioned “homecoming bonfire” at 8053 Hannum Road beginning at 1 p.m. Those attending should bring a dish to pass, meat to grill, snacks to share and lawn chairs. Summer Park Meetings To Start

The Salvation Army will begin its series of summer park meetings on Sunday, July 8, at River Walk Park in Brooklyn Square. The community is welcome to attend the events. In case of rain, the program will be held at The Salvation Army, 83 S. Main St., Jamestown. The program includes: a hymn sing on July 14; The Blue Lizzard Trio on July 21, The Crossmen on July 28, Saved By Grace on Aug. 4 and the Salvation Army Musical Night on Aug. 11.

Planning Board To Meet July 9

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s Capital Projects Review will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Jamestown Community College, 525 Falconer St., Jamestown. Antique Group Meets Tuesday

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the club grounds, 4578 Cemetery Road, Stockton. Plans for the annual antique equipment show from Aug. 16-18 will be discussed.

Celoron Hall To Close Early Mon.

CELORON — The Celoron Village Hall will close at 3 p.m. Monday due to the ribbon cutting for the new boardwalk and kayak/canoe launch.
