Falconer After Prom Meeting Set

Internet Safety Course Slated

Tracy Mitrano, internet safety expert, will address common concerns that both parents and children have about internet safety Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Lakewood Library, 12 W. Summit St., Lakewood, and Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Patterson Library, 40 S. Portage St., Westfield.

Carroll To Host Town Hall Event

FREWSBURG — The officially endorsed Republican candidates for Carroll supervisor and clerk, Laura Smith and Tenneil Stelmack, respectively, along with County Executive George Borrello, running for the 57th District seat in the state Senate, will host a meet-and-greet and town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Carroll Town Hall, 5 W. Main St., Frewsburg. There will be social time at the beginning of the event, and then the candidates will give short presentations and take questions. The public is welcome to attend.

JPS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room, 197 Martin Road. Among items on the agenda are approving a new textbook, “Introduction to Hospitality,” for instructional use. The public is welcome to attend.

Fenton Holding Brown Bag Lunch 

The Fenton History Center will host its next Brown Bag Lunch Lecture at noon Wednesday at the Fenton Mansion. The guest speaker will be county historian Michelle Henry, speaking on the topic “The Community of Prospect Station.” The lecture is free and open to the public.

MS Rap Group To Meet At Jones Hill

The Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center auditorium, first floor, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. Land Bank Corp. Slates Meeting

Committee Set To Meet Friday

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Legislature’s Special Committee for land bank properties will meet at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building to review the designation of county tax foreclosure properties that may be removed from the tax foreclosure auction and transferred to the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation. The public is welcome to attend.
