Quilt Guild To Meet Wednesday

BUSTI — The Chautauqua Region Quilt Guild will meet Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. at the Busti Fire Hall. The program will be “Antique Quilts” by Birgit Hanson. Refreshments will be served and guests are welcome.

Fenton Brown Bag Lecture Set

The Fenton History Center’s next Brown Bag Lunch Lecture is Wednesday, May 8, from noon to 1 p.m. Guest speaker Randy Anderson of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame will discuss “Olympians of Chautauqua County.” Those attending should bring their own lunch. The lecture is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged.

Transplant Town Hall Wednesday

The UPMC Liver Transplant Program will host an online Living-Donor Liver Transplant Town Hall to help educate patients with liver disease about living donation and how to find a living donor using the UPMC Living Donor Champion Program. The first town hall will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday featuring Dr. Abhi Humar, chief of transplant at UPMC. The second will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, featuring Dr. Swaytha Ganesh, medical director of the UPMC Living Donor Program. Psychic Fair And Expo On May 11

The Psychic Fair and Expo will be held Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crystal Ballroom Banquet Facility, 110 W. Third St., Jamestown. The event will include Tarot card readings, guest mediums and psychic readings. General admission is $5.

Gerry VFD To Host ‘Wing Night’

GERRY — The Gerry Volunteer Fire Department is hosting “Wing Night” on Saturday, May 11, at the Gerry Rodeo Dining Hall from 5-7 p.m. Flavors will include hot, medium and mild buffalo sauce, barbecue, butter garlic and honey mustard. Orders of six wings will include french fries and a drink. Take-out will be available. Proceeds will help the fire department.

Annual Bike Blessing May 19

MAYVILLE — The ninth annual Bike Blessing from the American Legion Riders of Western New York will be held Sunday, May 19, at the American Legion Post 493 at 144 E. Main St., Mayville. The event begins at 1 p.m. with a ride to follow.

Kidder UM To Host Rummage Sale

The Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church, 385 S Main St, Jamestown, will host a rummage sale Thursday, May 9, from 5-8 p.m.; Friday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be served Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A bag sale will be held Saturday.

Special Board Meeting May 14

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will hold a budget hearing and special board meeting on Monday, May 14, at 6 p.m. in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. Immediately following the budget hearing and special board meeting, the audit committee will meet in the board of education conference room.
