Cleanup Day Set Saturday

CONEWANGO — The Rutledge Cemetery, Seager Hill, Conewango cleanup day will be Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Those who attend are asked to bring their own tools. All help is greatly appreciated.

Bocci Meeting To Be Held Monday

A Bocci meeting will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s Church, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown. Anyone interested in playing in the Catholic Bocci League on Monday or Wednesday nights is asked to attend this meeting so teams can be set. Earth Day Clean Up Saturday

WARREN, Pa. — An Earth Day Plogging clean up event by Allegheny Outfitters will be held Saturday from 1-3 p.m. in Warren, Pa. This is a fun way to get outside and do some good for your local community. Plogging is a mix of jogging and picking up litter. It can be done solo or with a friend or group of friends. Plogging does not have to be done on the run, plogging can be enjoyed while leisurely walking and chatting. This feel-good event begins with an informative talk by Kara Bemis about the dangers and enormity of plastic pollution. After the 30 minute presentation participants will be given gloves to wear while collecting litter together around downtown Warren.

Food Pantry Open Tomorrow

KENNEDY — The Kennedy First United Methodist Church Food Pantry and Children’s Clothing Closet serving Falconer Central School District residents is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The pantry strives to provide each family with two or three days of food, but is limited to the type of food on donations that have been received. The clothing closet provides children’s clothing from birth through teen sizes. For more information, call the church office at 267-2645. The church is located at the corner of Church and Second streets, Kennedy, across from the Kennedy Town Hall and post office. The building is handicapped-accessible through the lower side door.

Frewsburg Easter Egg Hunt Set

FREWSBURG — The Magnolia in Frewsburg invites area children and their families to join them on Saturday at 2 p.m. for its rescheduled Easter Egg Hunt on the campus grounds. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets and gather at the pavilion behind the facility. The event is free to the public. All ages are welcome, and refreshments will be served. Since the activity will be held outdoors, it is weather-dependent, and may be canceled due to inclement conditions. Community Craft Time Set April 23

KENNEDY — Community Craft Time at Kennedy First United Methodist Church will have an additional craft time in April from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday. Individuals are invited to bring their own project to work on or to come for the social time. The church is handicapped-accessible through the lower side door. The group meets upstairs, but there is a lift. For more information, call the church at 267-2645 and leave a message if no one is in the office.
